how it works
We take any vehicle, regardless of condition, to use towards providing vehicles to people in need. When a vehicle is donated it is inspected to see how it could best be used to help our mission. Some vehicles are sold or scrapped depending on condition and that money is used to fix the vehicles that are repairable. We are a 501c-3 nonprofit so anything that is donated is tax deductible.
Vehicles in fair condition are repaired by a certified automotive technician and donated to individuals in need, which is what makes us different from many non-profits that accept vehicles. Our goal is to re-purpose as many as possible so they can be donated to change the life of someone in a profound way.
We currently partner with The Jimmie Hale Mission of Birmingham, AL to provide us with recipients of these vehicles. These individuals have proven that they have a passion for improving their lives which is why we primarily donate to them only with the exception of one case.
